Our Story
Scrubs you actually want to wear. Designed by someone who wears them
Where it began
As a Melbourne based radiographer, I've lived in scrubs for over a decade. And like so many women in healthcase I noticed the same two frustrations on repeat:
1. "Premium" fabrics that weren't premium at all.
Nearly all the scrub brands used the same polyester heavy blends- sweaty, uncomfortable, the opposite of breathable. The only natural fibre options were cotton, which is stiff, not stretchy and never truly comfortable.
2. A fit that never felt flattering.
Even the "slim fit" options all had the same boxy, triangular style top. No contour. No shape. Nothing that made you feel confident or feminine at work.
The search for something better
I started searching for breathable, natural fibre scrubs and discovered they barely existed.
Nobody in Australia was making scrubs from lyocell because it’s harder to source, more expensive, and is difficult to weave into the structured fabric used in scrubs.
Every manufacturer told me the same thing "we only make scrubs from polyester/rayon/spandex or cotton".
I spent over a year hunting for the right material, testing different fabrics, before finding what I was looking for.
It feels like luxe loungewear
